KALVYN
Go somewhere. Feel everything. American Design Hub built KALVYN's travel brand identity and destination discovery website around one idea: the trip should start the moment someone starts scrolling, not the moment they land.

A Bold Digital Identity for Modern Travel Discovery, Built to Turn Destination Inspiration Into Booked Trips.
KALVYN set out to be more than another travel booking site the spark that turns 'maybe someday' into 'let's actually go.' American Design Hub built KALVYN's travel brand identity and website design around a geometric wordmark, a black-and-white palette lifted by one orange accent, and photography carrying the emotional work. The destination discovery experience mirrors how people actually decide where to go scroll first, get inspired, commit second with destination cards carrying a rating, a name, and one clear action, so the path from 'Find Places Worth Exploring' to a booked trip never asks a visitor to work for it.
Challenge
Compete for Attention in an Industry Built on Wanderlust: A Travel Brand and Website Built to Stand Out.
Travel is one of the most visually saturated categories online. Every competitor has a mountain photo and an inspirational tagline. KALVYN needed to look different scrolling past a hundred identical hero shots, and needed a site structured well enough that inspiration actually converts before the tab gets closed.
Our direction
One Accent Color, Used on Purpose | A Travel Branding System Built on Restraint.
KALVYN's identity runs almost entirely in black and white, with orange reserved for exactly one job: pointing at the next action. The geometric word-mark stays quiet everywhere it appears, so the photography cliffs, coastlines, a traveller mid-shot with her camera raised gets to carry the brand's actual personality.
A tightly constructed geometric wordmark, built to a strict spacing grid measured in multiples of its own stroke width, so it holds up as cleanly on a water bottle as it does at billboard scale.
One colour rule black, white, and a single orange accent carried across the website, destination cards, and branded travel gear like bottles and packs.
Project process
From First Scroll to First Trip
Discovery
We studied how people actually browse for a next trip inspiration first, logistics a distant second and where most travel sites lose that momentum.
Direction
Positioning locked around restraint: photography-first, black-and-white design with a single orange accent doing all the pointing.
Identity
The wordmark was built to a strict geometric grid, then stress-tested across web, merchandise, and print before anything shipped.
Application
The system rolled out across the website, destination cards, and branded travel accessories one consistent brand wherever a traveler encounters it.
Digital expression
A website built for scrolling, not searching
The homepage opens with 'Find Places Worth Exploring,' backed by cinematic, full-bleed destination photography instead of a search bar upfront. Destination cards, rating, name, one clear action let visitors browse a trip the way they actually shop: emotionally first, practically second. 'Go Somewhere. Feel Everything.' carries through as a recurring line, closing with 'Let's Start Your Journey.
Final outcome
A Brand Makes the Trip Start Before the Flight, Turning Dreams Into a Booked Trip.
KALVYN now has a brand and website that don't just describe travel they replicate the feeling of it, page by page. The result is a travel identity that's bold, modern, and aspirational, doing the emotional work most booking platforms leave entirely to price comparison.
