About the project
A Brand That Says "Clarity" Without Saying It Twice
LIVORA needed a personal finance app branding and UI/UX design that earned simple, secure, and smart not just claimed them. American Design Hub built a calm colour system and clear money management interface, organised around Balance, Spending, and Categories.
Challenge
Building trust in a category built on anxiety
Most finance apps fall into one of two visual traps: sterile banking-dashboard design that feels like a spreadsheet, or over-gamified budgeting apps that feel more like a game than a financial tool. LIVORA didn't belong in either lane; the app needed to be read as calm and trustworthy first, motivating second, without leaning on either cliché to get there.
Our direction
Built on calm, not complexity
Instead of reaching for cold blues and corporate banking tones the easy move in fin-tech branding LIVORA committed to a deep-to-bright green gradient as the only signal it needed, on purpose. That left the wordmark and a single warm accent colour to earn recognition through contrast alone, and left real transaction data to carry the clarity colour usually promises.
The LIVORA wordmark uses a bright, gradient-driven green that reads as growth and clarity rather than caution, paired with a quiet tagline, "Know Your Money," that sets the tone before a single screen loads.
Every screen balance card, analytics chart, transaction list pulls from the same restrained toolkit: deep green for trust, bright green for growth, and a single warm accent reserved for spending.
Project process
Four Decisions, One System
Discovery
Before drawing anything, we mapped what actually separates one finance app from another once the marketing language is stripped away of clarity, trust, and the nerve to leave out needless complexity.
Direction
Green wasn't decoration, it was brief. Building the palette around growth and calm meant every decision after it had to be justified through contrast and hierarchy alone.
Identity
The wordmark, colour system, and iconography were built as one unit, then tested against real balance, income, and expense data until the numbers felt informative instead of overwhelming.
Application
Identity came first, core screens second, on-boarding last so the brand had to prove itself on a balance card before it ever leaned on marketing copy to sell the idea.
Digital expression
An app organized like a daily habit, not a bank statement
LIVORA's home screen shows balance, spending, and transactions at a glance. Home, Analytics, Profile navigation skips the clutter. This personal finance app UI/UX design uses clear typography and a calm green base to keep money management simple.
Final outcome
One brand, one calm palette, built to be checked daily
LIVORA now has an identity that doesn't need alarm or gamification to be useful; the wordmark, the colour system, and the data visualization carry it on their own, whether it's a balance card or a year-over-year spending chart. The app works the same way the brand looks: clear, calm, and built around what people are actually there to do know their money.
